Comments:

A Roma Eterna story set in the Roman year 1861 (1108 CE), the Emperor Saturninus hears from a Norseman about fantasically wealthy lands across the Ocean Sea, a whole New World. It's been a long time since Rome had new lands to conquer, so Saturninus sets his sights across the western ocean. The first expedition, three legions, had vanished without trace, and now the second wave of the invasion, seven legions well stocked with horses and seige engines, is landing on the shores of a land with the exotic name of Yucatán.
